Unlike most, we’ve maintained a muted stance on the relationship of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. After all, who are we to judge?
However, the shameless duo have elevated media whoring to lofty new levels on the latest cover of L’Officiel Hommes.
Clearly paying homage to the deed that made Kardashian a household name in the first place, the couple (who are expecting a child together) seem adamant to show the world just how into each other they are – literally.
And while sharing every nugget of life is Kardashian Family Values, we’re a little perplexed (and disappointed) with Kanye.
This is the same Yeezy moaning to everyone and their dog about the “system” and how it’s set up to fail artists, only to willingly “sell” his relationship for coin and exposure the very same week. Again, we love us some Kanye and his crazy ways, but we’re going to need him to have an arena of seats with this one. Pronto.

Beyonce is the latest high-profile celeb to have a high-end custom sneaker designed in her honor. And it's one fit for a Queen (Bey):
PMK, the geniuses behind Jay-Z's re-imagined Air Jordan 1's "Brooklyn Zoo" have now created a sneaker in honor of Beyonce called "King Bey" Isabel Marant Sneaker Wedge.

Tyler Perry’s For Better Or For Worse Moving to OWN!
OWN is expanding its relationship with Tyler Perry — his sitcom For Better or Worse is moving from TBS to OWN this fall. In addition to acquiring the first 45 episodes of the scripted comedy that originally aired on TBS, OWN will produce a third season of the series — which ranked as basic cable’s top show among Black Americans. The original cast — Tasha Smith, Michael Jai White, Crystle Stewart, Kent Faulcon, Kiki Haynes and Jason Olive — all will return and begin production on season three in April in Atlanta. OWN has already announced two new projects from Perry. One is a comedy called Love Thy Neighbor and the other is a drama called The Haves and the Have Nots. The new series are expected to launch later this year.

Elle Varner ROCKS A NEW Short HAIR 'DO For Her 24th BIRTHDAY Celebration

Dawn Richard Talks Life Lessons From Diddy, Being A Whore For Her Man + Missing Danity Kane
Over the weekend, newly independent artist Dawn Richard held a private album release celebration in DC, before her concert at Howard Theatre. The New Orleans native was all smiles, as she gave a very open and candid interview with us. The sweeties over at The Jasmine Blog got her to open up about all things Diddy and Danity Kane, what went wrong in her public relationship with Que (formerly of Day 26) and being a whore (her words, not ours) for her new man.

On the most challenging record on her album:
That’s a good question. Everything was organic. Most of the songs were written in a half an hour which was different from the process of working with Dirty Money. There were aren’t any challenging or difficult moments with recording this album.
Three things she learned from Diddy:
One….If you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will. Diddy is the king of believing in himself. Two….Marketing your brand. It’s so important to be able to sell yourself as a brand and believe in that brand enough to give it to people in a way that’s honest, raw, genuine and ever-evolving. Three…Presentation is everything. I am always fine tuning ways of marketing myself because now I don’t have the same push as I did when I was with a big label.

The funny drunk moments. Those girly moments. Being on the stage. We had great, great chemistry. We had fun.
On her relationship with the other former members of Danity Kane:
I love them. Yes, we speak we can. They are my girls forever. But nothing can last when you’re competing each other. People misunderstood us. We did our best to support and love one another in the way that we were created. But we did a hell of a job. We weren’t like Destiny’s Child who grew up as sisters and chose that. We were put together. It’s hard to have something like that in that situation. But I still love them.
Her view on a possible Danity Kane reunion:
Oh, I would do it. But everybody has to want to do it.
Her views on being in a relationship and being an entertainer:
I don’t think it’s tough when you’re honest. I think people make it tough when you choose to be dishonest. It would have been easier if he was just honest and he wasn’t. I am a private person and it took a lot out of me to put my relationship out there. Honesty would have carried us farther.
On what her previous relationship with Que from Day 26 taught her:
It taught me a lot about myself and what I could withstand. I was surprised that I wasn’t more violent when I found out some things. But I surprised myself with being more kind, understanding and tolerant. I used to look at it as being horrible; now I look at it as something that I had to go through. I appreciate what Que was. I still love him as a person. But the relationship ran its course. It wasn’t meant to be.
On whether or not she is relationship-oriented:
I’m a serial monogamous. I am great at being single but when I’m with someone, I can be with them forever. I am a Leo, I am loyal and I can find the beauty in you even at your worst.
On who she is dating now:
I am dating. I won’t tell you who it is. It’s very private. But I am very nasty. I’m very sexual. Girl, I am a whore for my man. So, because I am all over the place for him, I keep things to myself. But I’ve always been secretive because I am such a wild child.
On whose wardrobe she would swap with in the industry:
Daphne Guinness. She is incredible. She is a style icon. She isn’t an entertainer but she is a style muse. I love everything she has.
On whether or not she wears Spanx:
Nope. Whatever you see hanging out is hanging out. Hahaha. The cellulite on my ass, stretchmarks and all. Take me as I am.
Three items in her purse she can’t live without:
Lip gloss, my iPhone, my Nokia and condoms, you know, just in case.
On what she wants her legacy to be:
That I changed music. That I changed the sound of R&B.

Maino's Baby Momma Zakia Baum TALKS Blasts Lil' Kim For CREEPING With Her (Ex) Man
Since the cancellation of her show "Starter Wives Confidential" reality star Zakim Baum, who's also the mother of Maino's 11-year-old son, talked to the Street Disciplez about 50 Cent lying about getting the show cancelled. She also gave her thoughts on Lil' Kim cheating with Maino. Here are the highlights:
ON LATE NIGHT CALLS FROM LIL KIM AND KIM DATING MAINO'S BEST FRIEND FIRST:
"I heard things about them being together while we were together. I just had calls at night, her calling in the wee hours of the morning. His cell phone; he seems to not remember this though, but I remember it quite clearly."
"I knew she was dating his friend before that. Not only his friend, his best friend. So I never imagined it. I would see pictures of them out, my girlfriends would always send me pictures. It's interesting, when she did her show, people would tell me, no he's with her; this day he's with her, that day. And then when that jail show [Lil' Kim: Countdown to Lockdown] came out, I'm like this f*cking b*tch is lying, pardon my French. And I'm like, damn, Jermaine was with her, and I confronted him, but he never admitted to being with her, ever."
ON WHETHER SHE EVER CONFRONTED LIL KIM:
"The only time I saw her, I saw her twice with him. It was at a video shoot, and one was at, he did a show, I don't even want to remember that. He had a show, and it was a bit crazy. But, maybe it was my naievete at the time, I still thought that, I thought he was screwing her manager Hillary at the time. I didn't know who it was. I knew it was one of them, but I didn't think it was her initially. In my mind, a woman can't be with one man, a person's best friend, and then be with him. It just didn't, I couldn't imagine that, I couldn't fathom it. Until calls in the middle of the night, and then I got so much proof after we were broken up. I mean people were telling me they were together the whole time. They were together. The times when you thought they were together, they were together. So, I really got my proof after we were broken up."
"But I want the record to be clear, Lil Kim is not someone that I'm thinking about. I'm not even thinking about Jermaine. That particular [episode] I was angry not about Kim being there, because she's completely insignificant to me, I was upset at Monica just not telling me. So that was it. It was just the principle, and I'm a person that's big on principle."
ON THE POSSIBILITY OF THE SHOW BEING PICKED UP BY ANOTHER NETWORK:
"This is what we're battling right now. It's a lot. We're still, I can't say too much, we're not settled with what happened because we still can't grasp how after two episodes how you make a decision. They didn't give it a chance. You can't compare it to a 'Honey Boo Boo' or 'Say Yes to the Dress'. I'm sure when these shows started, they weren't bringing in big numbers. It just doesn't make sense. After the second episode, they pretty much made up their mind that we would be going to TLC.com. So that quite actually doesn't sit well with us."
ON 50 CENT SAYING HE GOT THE SHOW PULLED:
"I can tell you one thing, 50 Cent did not have anything to do with us being pulled off. I know he put that rumor out there, and I don't even know why he would care. He succeeded at, I don't even know if he succeeded. I'm not even going to get into that. I can't even talk about that with Shaniqua not being on the show, who would have been such a pivotal person on the show. She's a wonderful and awesome person. I love her. She is the one, we are the closest."

Quvenzhane Wallis is the new ANNIE!
Quvenzhane Wallis, the Oscar-nominated 9-year-old star of Beasts of the Southern Wild, has just been cast to play the title role in the upcoming remake of Annie.
The film will be directed by Will Gluck and co-produced by Jay-Z, Jay Brown & Ty Ty Smith through Marcy Media in addition to the Smith's Overbrook Entertainment.
And the well-spoken and poised cutie Quvenzhane will be singing and dancing in the remake to music produced specifically for the film by Jay-Z.
Columbia Pictures President Hannah Minghella said about the new casting decision:
“With the recent Academy Award nomination and critical acclaim, Quvenzhane Wallis is a true star, and we believe her portrayal as Annie will make her a true worldwide star. She is an extraordinary young talent with an amazing range, not only as an actress but as a singer and dancer, and we can’t wait for audiences to further discover her."
According to THR, DeVon Franklin will be overseeing the movie at the studio with Andrea Giannetti. And the film based on the 1977 Broadway production is set to be released during the Holidays of 2014.
She's the perfect choice for the role. she's well on her way to a BIG Hollywood career. Congrats Q!
