War Of Words: Nicki Minaj & Mariah Carey’s Heated Exchange On ‘American Idol’
Neighbor Damn, when will these two ever act like ladies and respect one another on TV and in front of their contestants and fellow judges?? Nicki Minaj, tells Mariah Carey to “Clean Your Ears Out…” during the show’s broadcast. The two divas bickered about a performance of ‘Someone To Watch Over Me‘ by “AI” finalist Angie Miller.
Hate was thrown from both sides of the table as Mariah stated that she disagreed with ‘certain‘ judges (referring to a comment that Nicki had made earlier) and Nicki responded by waving a cotton swab towards Mariah saying “Clean your ears out.” As the audience gasped, Mariah shut Nicki down but looking at Angie and saying,
‘Darling, let me express this to her as a singer. Just sing from your heart every time and your notes will continue to shine regardless of the “dirt” that gets splattered around you.

Taking exception to Mariah's dig about having more Billboard number one hits, Nicki furiously let rip at the singer via her Twitter page.
'Bwaha! Burn? She's sad i tied her record for Hot 100 entries in only 3 years of being in the game. Yep, a black female rapper.'
'What u SHOULD be doing (wit your messy ass) is asking why a woman SO successful at her age, is still so INSECURE, and bitter,' she added.
Nicki then addressed the rumours that Idol producers are considering replacing Mariah with Jennifer Lopez after allegedly being unhappy with her 'bland' critiquing.
'All dem #1s but JLo phone ringin? Lol. I guess having a personality, being a secure woman, and giving genuine critique still trumps that,' wrote Nicki.
Wednesday's initial confrontation arose between Mariah and Nicki as the pair argued about contestant Angie MIller's performance of Someone To Watch Over Me.
Fireworks flew after Nicki told Miller, 18, from Beverly, Massachusetts, that she reminded her of a 'Disney Princess' and that her looks, voice and disposition were like 'Beauty and the Beast.'
Nicki said: 'I could totally see you singing those kind of songs on Broadway, you have a very Broadway type of thing.
'Something you should work and concentrate on is your high notes as when you hit them you seem to get into it and your face and your body transforms so just get the beginning to there.'
LMAO!
